Welcome to the home page of the International Friesian Show Horse Association (IFSHA). IFSHA is the only official United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) recognized representative of the Friesian horse.

Our goal is to provide a Rated Show Circuit with rules and regulations to protect the Horses while providing a fair and enjoyable playing field. We will promote IFSHA activities by offering a Year End Awards Program and recognition for Friesians that excel in open competition, as well as junior equitation, english pleasure (saddle seat, hunt seat), costume, western pleasure, halter, dressage, driving, and even trail classes. There will also be fun classes like Liberty to promote the Friesian horse in its natural splendor. Due to the efforts of IFSHA, in 2005 USEF also began to provide recognition and annual awards for the Friesian horse.

Every horse containing Friesian blood should be able to connect with and preserve their authentic Dutch heritage. Through IFSHA we want to reach out to all people with horses containing Friesian blood and bring them together to protect, promote, and establish a harmonious show community.
