IFSHA Horse of the Year points are calculated using the two tables on this page. The first table is for USEF Dressage, Driving, Halter, Flat Classes, and Over Fences classes and the second is used for USDF and Affiliate USDF Club Dressage classes.
Note - USDF sanctioned dressage events are always open events. Since IFSHA events are limited to Friesians and Friesian Derivatives they do not follow USDF requirements even though they follow USDF rules. Riders participating in USEF/IFSHA dressage classes will be given a class placing that is to be used with the flat class table below to compute points.
